About
About this 1963 VW Beetle
Dad bought this Beetle new off the dealership lot in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1963. He and Mom drove it cross country to start their new life and family together. Later he sold it, but he always wanted it back, so when he found it again, he bought it a second time. He'd always planned to restore it, collecting parts along the way, but time ran out and he never got to it. It comes with a backseat full of parts and glass.
I'd love to see this go to someone who will restore it or give it a second life, but I'd understand if you see it as a source of parts too. Most everything you would need to get it drivable is there, including new pans.
